Gary Hartman first developed The "Stablized Rooting Media" 1981. He kept this technology proprietary for several years to be used exclusively within his own nurseries and farms. Later, once the potential of the Q Plug was discovered it was decided to be released to the trade.

78 ener-G - Q Plug in Tray

This tray is available as a 78 solid tray, a double 26 strip or a single 13 strip. This tray is our patented Quick Start ener-G tray. Of all the vacuum formed trays the ener-G tray is the only one to promote root growth and prevent twisting. Plants transplanted from this tray will out-perform most any other plants currently used in the industry today. You will save 10 to 20% growing time to a finished product.

200 Round

The 200 tray was the very first round cell EPS tray ever made originally used for vegetable transplants. This tray is used extensively in the forestry industry and is used as a liner for general ornamentals. As with all plants grown in the Q Plug everything always ships and arrives in good condition. This cell size is made for automated transplanting in the field.
